Adventures in Learning is the celebrated and acclaimed afterschool program for underserved Manhasset and Great Neck students.

Carson Daly, host of “The Voice” and “Today” shows, and Manhasset resident, praised Adventures. After visiting, he said, “I have seen firsthand the incredible work done there.  The students are thriving.  You can see it in their smiles when you walk in.  Just as important are the faculty, volunteers and students working closely together, resulting in impressive outcomes. It says a lot about the supportive environment created at Adventures under the exceptional leadership of Diana Holden, Executive Director. We are very lucky to have such a magnificent organization here in Manhasset.”

The 2020 honorees are local residents, Bill and Liz Collard, and Father Damian Halligan.

Adventures’ Executive Director Diana Holden notes that “the support of Adventures made by this year’s honorees has been extraordinary.  Their love of and for the Adventures family has been a gift to the children.  On behalf of the Board and everyone at Adventures, we thank our honorees for their kindness, devotion and generosity.
